Lindsay is an award-winning composer, renowned for her distinctive blend of contemporary classical instrumentation and traditional practices with electronics and experimental techniques. Currently splitting her time between the US and the UK, she is known for crafting original and emotive scores for film, television and games.


An Emmy, RTS and Music + Sound Award nominee, she is best known for her scores for dramas such as Archie (BritBox) starring Jason Issac and Harriet Walter, and The Walk-In (ITV) starring Stephen Graham. Her work in documentaries includes the acclaimed four-part series The Man Who Played With Fire (Sky); feature-length The Whistleblowers (BBC); an upcoming true crime series for Sky and an independent feature.

Lindsay has built a strong creative partnership with composer and singer-songwriter Tawiah, with whom she co-created the acclaimed score for the BAFTA-winning BBC/Hulu comedy-thriller Black Ops. Their work was nominated for a RTS Award for Best Original Score, and a second season is underway. The duo has also collaborated on BAFTA-nominated Without Sin (ITV), starring Vicky McClure, The Lovers (Sky Atlantic), and the six-part supernatural drama Domino Day (BBC/Netflix). 

Lindsay graduated with a First Class BMus (Hons) degree in Music Technology from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and a MA from The National Film and Television School. She began her career working with many prolific composers including Martin Phipps, Isobel Waller-Bridge and Ruth Barrett, writing additional music for Apple TV's ROAR; Stan Lee's Lucky Man; Sky Atlantic's The Tunnel and feature drama The Aftermath. As a music editor, she worked on season 3 & 4 of Netflix's flagship series The Crown (resulting in her first Primetime Emmy nomination), as well as Amazon Studios' The Feed; Netflix's The Forgotten Battle and ITV's Angela Black. She also arranged and played strings for NBC's Law & Order: Organized Crime and performs on many of her own scores.

In short form media, her music for Mudlarks was nominated for Best Score at the British Short Film Awards and her music for HP's 'Orchestra' campaign won Bronze at the Clio Awards, LIA Awards & Creative Circle Awards, and was a finalist in the Music + Sound Awards. Other brands Lindsay has scored campaigns for include Gousto, British Airways, Pampers and Rightmove.

Lindsay is passionate about experimenting with new sounds to create distinctive, narrative-driven compositions, making her one of the most exciting voices working in music for media today.
